BROWNFIELD, TX – The Lockney Longhorn Powerlifting team was in competition on Thursday at the 2024 Regional Meet in Brownfield.
Adrian Hernandez, Rudy Jimenez, Caden Pritchard, and Jeremiah Rosales qualified for the state competition.
Also placing for Lockney was Xavier Jimenez (9th), Masen Rehkopf (3rd), Jisiah Lara (6th), Jose Salazar (6th).
The team placed 1st overall and head coach Chris Pritchard received the 1st place coach award.
Lockney will also be sending Nayiahlee Vasquez, Ciara Hernandez, and Monique Lara for the girls state meet.
