FLOYDADA, TX – Building community relations is one reason Travis Ivie recently joined the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
Before becoming a Deputy, the Fort Worth native worked in construction.
However, one of the biggest challenges facing the office is how small the department is for such a busy county.
Still, Ivie enjoys the people here and, when he has a little personal time, will look for an opportunity to hunt or fish.
