LOCKNEY, TX – Despite hitting the budget goal for gross revenue during January, the Lockney General Hospital District reported a net loss of $218,594.

The loss was almost entirely reflected by charity care of $214,000.

During their most recent meeting in February, the Board heard from CEO Vince DiFranco, who outlined the total Clinic volume for the first month of the year at 837 visits, a slight reduction from the previous month. The volume in the ER was 209 visits, with four procedures performed. The lab performed 3,905 tests, and the Radiology volume was 336 for the month, including 76 CT scans.

The next meeting is scheduled for March 27, 2024, at noon.
