FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were host to the Ralls Lady Rabbits on Tuesday in a district game.
Both teams would score one run in the first inning to make it 1-1.
The Lady Rabbits were able to take the lead in the top of the second inning, scoring three runs, going up 4-1.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Lady Winds were able to cut the lead down 4-3 after scoring two runs.
Floydada tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, Floydada’s Sydney Hardcastle hit the game winning single to win the game 5-4 over the Ralls Lady Rabbits.
With the win on Tuesday, the Lady Winds remain undefeated in district play at 10-0 and are 20-4 overall.
