FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds had senior night on Tuesday as they hosted the Hale Center Owls in the final home district game of their season.
The Owls would jump out to a 1-0 lead at the top of the first inning, however, the Whirlwinds would respond in the bottom half of the inning to take a 4-1 lead.
Floydada’s offense would continue in the second and third inning and were able to extend their lead 9-2.
The Whirlwinds would close out their final home game of the season with a 10-5 win over the Hale Center Owls.
The Whirlwinds move to 4-15 overall and 3-8 in district play.
Floydada will close out their district schedule on Saturday in Hale Center.
