NEW HOME, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were on the road for a district game against the New Home Lady Leopards.
New Home was able to jump out early in the first half to take the lead 36-19 going into halftime.
The Lady Winds tried to find momentum in the second half, but would fall short 61-30.
Floydada was led in scoring by Katelynn Ramirez with 14 points and Soriah Wickware with 9 points.
The Lady Winds fall to 14-13 overall and 5-5 in district play.
