NEW HOME, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds traveled for Tuesday’s district game against the New Home Leopards.
The Whirlwinds struggled offensively in the first half, being outscored 41-16.
In the second half, Floydada found a spark on offense, however, it was not enough as they Leopards would secure the victory 72-56.
The Whirlwinds were led in scoring by Ty Henderson (18 points), Braun Hobbs (16 points) and Sergio Valadez (14 points).
Floydada falls to 18-10 overall and 6-2 in district.
