NASHVILLE, TN – Brantley Gilbert’s music has been known to have a rock edge to it. Still, his music runs the gamut from tender ballads to gospel-influenced songs to songs with a little pop flavor, like his latest single with Ashley Cooke, “Over When We’re Sober.” Brantley feels like he’s always lived just outside the straight-down-the-middle country music box, but his diversity isn’t about trying to cross over into other formats or get exposure outside of the country; it’s about being authentically who he is as a writer and an artist.
