FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Graduation season has officially arrived in Floyd County, bringing with it excitement, pride, and a sense of accomplishment for students, families, and educators alike. This week, both Lockney and Floydada high schools are preparing to honor the Class of 2025 as they take the stage for their long-awaited ceremonies.
Floydada Collegiate ISD will hold its graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 15, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The event will mark a significant milestone for students who have worked hard to reach this point in their academic journeys. The very next evening, Lockney High School will celebrate its graduates with a ceremony on Friday, May 16, also starting at 7:00 p.m.
As the community comes together to recognize the achievements of these outstanding young individuals, we at the Floyd County Record will be sharing updates, highlights, and celebrations throughout the week. These graduates represent the future of our county, and their dedication, perseverance, and spirit are truly something to be proud of.
