LOCKNEY, TX – The City of Lockney is once again encouraging residents to come together for its annual Clean-Up Week, scheduled for Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, June 21. This initiative provides an excellent opportunity for community members to dispose of unwanted items that are not typically accepted in regular trash pickup.
During Clean-Up Week, the Lockney Collection Station will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering extended hours to accommodate residents’ schedules. Items such as bulky waste, household debris, and other large materials can be dropped off for proper disposal.
City officials hope this effort will not only enhance the appearance of homes, neighborhoods, and public spaces, but also foster a shared sense of pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout Lockney.
Residents with questions about what can be discarded or need additional information are encouraged to contact the City of Lockney during regular business hours.
