Floydada’s Madison Pyle Named to Prestigious 2A Softball Super Elite Team

FLOYDADA, TX — Floydada High School’s own Madison Pyle has earned a major statewide honor in the world of high school athletics. Pyle, a standout athlete for the Lady Winds softball team, has been named to the 2024–2025 Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) 2A Super Elite Team, placing 10th among the top talent across Texas.

This prestigious list recognizes the most outstanding softball players in Class 2A, spotlighting athletes who have demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and sportsmanship on and off the field. Pyle’s inclusion among such elite company is a testament to her dedication, hard work, and impact throughout the season.

Representing Floydada High School, Madison stood out against fierce competition from across the state. She is one of only 15 players named to this year’s 2A Super Elite roster, which includes top performers from schools such as Sundown, Ganado, Shiner, and Clarendon.

“Madison is a true competitor. She puts in the work and represents Floydada with pride,” said a representative from the school’s athletic department. “Being recognized at the state level is no small feat, and we’re incredibly proud of her.”

The THSCA Super Elite Team is selected based on nominations from coaches and performance throughout the season. Earning a place on this list highlights Pyle as one of the best in Texas high school softball and signals a bright future ahead.
