LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns coaching staff has scheduled a mandatory athletics meeting for all junior high and high school girls who plan to participate in athletics during the upcoming school year. The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 24, and is required for all incoming 7th through 12th grade female athletes.
This important meeting serves as the official kickoff to the 2025-2026 athletic year for the Lady Horns. Athletes involved in any sport—whether it’s volleyball, basketball, track, cross country, or any other team or individual event—must be in attendance. Coaches will cover key expectations, training schedules, program goals, and important updates for the year ahead.
In addition to the informational portion, the coaching staff will be collecting completed physicals and medical history forms from all athletes. These documents are required in order to participate in any practices, games, or athletic activities. Those who have not yet submitted their forms are urged to do so prior to the meeting, as participation cannot begin without them.
