FLOYDADA, TX – The community is invited to come out and show their support for the Floydada Whirlwinds at the annual Meet the Winds event tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Charles Tyer football stadium.
This exciting back-to-school tradition gives fans the opportunity to meet student-athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, and members of the band as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The evening will highlight the hard work and dedication of Floydada students while building excitement for the fall sports season.
Community members are encouraged to attend and cheer on the Whirlwinds as teams and organizations are introduced on the field. The event is free and open to the public.
“Meet the Winds” serves as a great opportunity for families, alumni, and fans to come together and celebrate the pride and spirit of Floydada.
