Longhorns Power Past Clarendon, Eye District Play

LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns gave their home fans plenty to cheer about Friday night, defeating the Clarendon Broncos 30-16 in a non-district matchup.

Lockney’s offense found its rhythm, putting points on the board consistently throughout the night, while the defense stepped up with key stops to secure the victory.

The win marks a strong showing for the Longhorns as they continue to build momentum heading into district competition.

With the victory, Lockney improves to 2-3 on the season.

The Longhorns will take a bye week before beginning district play on Thursday, October 10th, against the Morton Indians.
