LOCKNEY, TX – Lockney ISD students, staff, and community members gathered on Wednesday, September 24, at the flagpole of Lockney High School for the annual See You at the Pole event. The gathering brought together students from both the junior high and high school campuses, along with teachers, administrators, and local supporters, to lift up their school and community in prayer.
The morning focused on prayer for students, friends, teachers, families, the school, and the nation. Participants joined others across the globe who also took part in See You at the Pole, making it a unifying event that extends beyond local campuses.
Centered on this year’s theme verse from Habakkuk 3:2, the gathering encouraged reflection and unity. The event served as both a time of spiritual encouragement and a reminder of the importance of community support within the district.
Lockney ISD continues to celebrate the involvement of its students and the dedication of those who come together for moments of faith, encouragement, and hope. The event highlighted the pride of being part of the Longhorn community and the shared commitment to uplifting one another.
