LOCKNEY, TX – The City of Lockney has announced its annual October Tree Cleanup, running from October 6 through October 24. This program offers residents an easy way to dispose of tree limbs and branches while keeping the community clean and safe.
City crews will collect tree limbs from alleys each Monday and Thursday during the cleanup period. Residents who would like to schedule a pickup are asked to call City Hall and provide their address to be added to the route.
For those who prefer to handle disposal themselves, a customer drop-off option will also be available on Friday afternoons. Residents should contact City Hall in advance to arrange assistance at the drop-off site.
City officials remind everyone that the designated dump site is under video surveillance. Illegal dumping is prohibited, and violators will face citations. Additionally, dumpsters are reserved strictly for household trash and should not be used for tree debris or other large items.
This cleanup effort provides a convenient way for Lockney residents to maintain their properties and support a cleaner, more attractive community.
