FLOYD COUNTY — The Floyd County Clerk’s Office and the Tax Assessor-Collector are teaming up to promote civic engagement through art this election season. A countywide coloring and sticker design contest is underway, with entries due by November 4, 2025.
Coloring pages were distributed to schools and daycares across Floyd County, and are also available at the Clerk’s Office or online. Categories include Early Education, Elementary, Junior High, High School, and Adult.
Two sticker contests are open: a “Future Voter” design for youth, and an “I Voted” design open to all ages. Winning designs will be used during the 2026–2027 election year. Entries must reflect Floyd County and include either “Future Voter” or “I Voted,” depending on the category. Digital, hand-drawn, photo, and graphic designs are all accepted.
Voting will take place online via the County Clerk’s Facebook page and in person at the courthouse. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries in each category. Winners will be announced on November 12.
The offices are also seeking prize donations from local businesses — including swag, branded items, or monetary gifts — to support the effort.
