
LOCKNEY, TX – Lockney is gearing up for a festive week of fall fun with two community events planned to bring families, students, and local organizations together.
The Spirit Week Parade will take place Wednesday, October 29 at 8:30 p.m. on Main Street. The parade will begin at Wilson’s Pharmacy and end at Davis Lumber, followed by a community bonfire at the fairgrounds. Residents are encouraged to come out and cheer on the participants as local students and groups show their school and community spirit. The celebrations continue later in the week with the Halloween Carnival on Saturday, November 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lockney Elementary School. The event is free to attend and will feature games, food, sweet treats, and plenty of fun for all ages. Local school organizations and businesses will be participating, offering a great opportunity to support the community while enjoying an evening of Halloween excitement.
