FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds played host to the Abernathy Antelopes on Friday in a district matchup.
Abernathy was able to jump out early on the Whirlwinds in the first quarter.
The Whirlwinds showed sparks on offense to try and gain momentum, however, the Antelopes were able to secure the district victory 55-14.
Floydada falls to 0-8 overall and 0-3 in district play.
The Whirlwinds will host Post on Friday night for their final home game of the season.
