FLOYD COUNTY, TX – The holiday season can be full of joy—but it can also bring stress and endless to-do lists. To help local women take a little time for themselves before the holidays begin, the Ladies’ Holiday Painting Party will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the Friends of Floyd County Unity Center.

This creative and relaxing evening is hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and will feature a step-by-step painting session guided by J & D’s Art Time. For $35 per person, participants will enjoy a night filled with painting, dinner, dessert, and plenty of laughter. All painting supplies are included, and each participant will leave with their own festive masterpiece to take home.

In addition to the art and fellowship, guests will also have the opportunity to discuss simple, practical ways to reduce stress during the holiday season—making this evening both enjoyable and meaningful.

Childcare will be available on-site, provided by Floydada’s TAFE chapter, for a minimum donation of $5 per child to cover expenses. Dinner and activities will be provided for the children as well.

Registration can be completed online by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, and spots are expected to fill quickly.
