LOCKNEY, TX – As Thanksgiving approaches, the Lockney community is invited to come together in gratitude and fellowship at the Annual Community Thanksgiving Service, scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. This cherished tradition brings together churches, families, and neighbors from across the area to pause and reflect on the blessings of the year.

This year’s service will be hosted by the Lockney Methodist Church, which will open its doors to the entire community for an evening of worship, prayer, and thanksgiving. Local pastors and church leaders are expected to take part, sharing messages of hope, unity, and faith as residents join their voices in song and gratitude.

The community Thanksgiving service has long been a special opportunity for Lockney residents to set aside denominational differences and come together as one. In a world that often feels fast-paced and divided, this gathering serves as a heartfelt reminder of the strength and kindness found in shared faith and community spirit.

All are invited to attend, whether you are part of a local congregation or simply wish to take part in a meaningful evening of thanks. The Lockney Methodist Church welcomes everyone to join in celebrating all that the Lord has done in us and among us this year.

Come early, bring a friend or neighbor, and be part of this time-honored tradition of gratitude and togetherness in Lockney.
