FLOYDADA, TX – First Baptist Church Floydada is once again partnering with Operation Christmas Child, serving as an official local drop-off location for anyone wishing to donate shoebox gifts this holiday season. Community members are invited to bring their packed shoeboxes during the church’s designated collection hours.
Drop-off times are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For those needing to come by on Friday or Saturday, the church encourages donors to call ahead to arrange a time or simply ring the doorbell upon arrival, and someone will meet you.
Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers millions of gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world each year. FBC Floydada says they are grateful to help connect the Floyd County community with this mission of generosity and hope.
Anyone wishing to participate can pack a shoebox with small toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and a personal note of encouragement.
For more information, residents are encouraged to contact FBC Floydada directly.
