HUNTSVILLE, TX – Four outstanding members of the Floydada FFA chapter earned high honors this week as they were named Texas FFA State Semi-Finalists in Agricultural Advocacy. The team, Madison Pyle, Rilynn Hinsley, Payten Shuping, and Brooklyn Pyle, placed 6th out of 12 teams in their competitive heat, finishing just two points shy of advancing to the state finals.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for the group, who have dedicated the past four months to preparing, researching, and refining their advocacy presentation. Advisors praised the team’s commitment, noting that their effort and leadership reflect the values of the Floydada FFA program.
“We could not be more proud of them and all of their hard work,” the chapter shared. “They have represented our program at the highest level.”
Their accomplishment highlights both their individual dedication and the strong agricultural education foundation within Floydada ISD. The chapter looks forward to building on this success in future competitions.
