HALE CENTER, TX -The Lady Winds hit the road Tuesday for a matchup against the Hale Center Lady Owls.
After a competitive first quarter, the Lady Owls gained control in the second, building a 29–4 lead heading into halftime.
The Lady Winds’ offense showed signs of life in the fourth quarter, but the deficit proved too large to overcome as they fell to Hale Center, 66–22.
With Tuesday’s loss, Floydada moves to 3–9 on the season and will travel to Tulia on Friday.
