FLOYDADA, TX – Floydada ISD held its 3rd Annual Christmas Bake-Off this week, bringing festive cheer, sweet aromas, and friendly competition to staff and community members. The event showcased a wide array of baked goods, from pies to casseroles, as participants put their best recipes forward.
A special thanks was extended to everyone who participated in this year’s bake-off, as well as to the Floydada ISD Board of Trustees, who volunteered their time to serve as judges following Tuesday’s board meeting.
After careful tasting and consideration, the judges announced the following winners in each category:
Pies: Christina Chesshir
Cookies: Diana Wilkinson
Cupcakes/Muffins: Dixie Everett
Cinnamon Rolls: Pauline Cooper
Breakfast Casseroles: Alejandra Ramirez
This year’s Best Overall Item honor was awarded to Pauline Cooper, whose entry stood out among all categories.
The district expressed appreciation for the enthusiasm and creativity shown by all participants, noting that the annual bake-off continues to grow as a beloved holiday tradition at Floydada ISD.
