LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney community once again came together this holiday season to support local families through a generous service effort led by the Lockney High School Cheerleaders and the Lockney Athletic Boosters. Through the support of community members, toys were collected and delivered to The Outcome Closet in Lockney, helping ensure families in need have access to gifts this Christmas.
The donated items, including toys, clothing, and shoes, will be available at The Outcome Closet on a first come, first serve basis. Residents are encouraged to follow The Outcome Closet’s social media page for updated hours of operation moving into the new year. The Outcome will be open on December 23 from 12-2pm for residents to get needed toys and clothes. These donations are expected to make a meaningful impact for families during the holiday season and continue the organization’s mission of serving the Lockney community year-round.
The Lockney High School Cheerleaders played an active role in the project, assisting with the collection and delivery of donated gifts. Their efforts reflect a strong commitment to service and community involvement, supported by the Athletic Boosters and generous local donors.
Community members, organizations, or students in need of volunteer hours are encouraged to get involved with future service projects at The Outcome Closet. Those interested in helping the ministry organize, expand, and continue its outreach efforts may contact Kayla Sherman to coordinate volunteer opportunities.
This collaborative effort highlights the spirit of giving in Lockney and the continued support for programs that help neighbors during the holiday season and beyond.
