FLOYD COUNTY, TX — The 2026 Floyd County Stock Show will continue on Saturday, January 3, with a full day of livestock shows and activities at the Floyd County Stock Show grounds.
Saturday’s events will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a welcome, prayer, and the National Anthem, officially opening the day’s competitions. Livestock showing will get underway at 8:30 a.m., featuring a full lineup of species throughout the day. Classes scheduled to be shown include sheep, goats, dairy cattle, breeding heifers, market steers, breeding gilts, and market barrows.
The Floyd County Stock Show showcases the hard work and dedication of local youth exhibitors and provides an opportunity for the community to support agricultural education and youth development in Floyd County.
Saturday’s activities will conclude with the Exhibitor Dance, scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering exhibitors and families a chance to celebrate and enjoy the conclusion of the day’s events.
The Floyd County Stock Show Association invites the public to attend and support local exhibitors throughout the day on Saturday.
