
FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds battled in a district game on Friday against the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs.
The Lady Winds found their rhythm in the first quarter taking a 9-2 lead.
Floydada would continue their momentum going into halftime, extending their lead 21-3.
The Lady Winds would close the game out in the second half with a 42-16 victory over the Lady Bulldogs, securing their third district win in a row.
Floydada moves to 6-12 overall and 3-0 in district play.
The Lady Winds will play host to the Tulia Lady Hornets in a non-district game on Tuesday.
