FLOYDADA, TX – The 2026 Floyd County Stock Show was held Saturday, January 3, bringing together youth exhibitors from across Floyd County to showcase their livestock projects. The annual event highlighted months of preparation and dedication, with exhibitors competing in swine, sheep, goats, beef, and dairy categories.
Overall Results
In the gilt division, DJ Sanchez earned Overall Champion Gilt, while Armando Chavarria III was named Overall Reserve Champion Gilt.
The barrow division was dominated by Armando Chavarria III, who claimed both Overall Champion Barrow and Overall Reserve Champion Barrow honors.
Brighton Reese was named Champion Swine Junior Showman, and Adrian Jimenez earned the title of Champion Swine Senior Showman.
In the lamb division, Lakyn Rawls had an exceptional showing, earning Overall Champion Lamb, Overall Reserve Champion Lamb, and Champion Junior Showman honors. Nick Cervantes was named Champion Senior Showman.
The goat division saw Dax Guerrero earn both Overall Champion Goat and Overall Reserve Champion Goat titles. Lillian Luna was named Champion Junior Showman in the goat division.
In the heifer division, Braxton Cole earned Overall Champion Heifer, with Aaren Rexrode receiving Overall Reserve Champion Heifer honors.
The steer division crowned Stetson Nutt as Overall Champion Steer, while DJ Sanchez earned Overall Reserve Champion Steer.
In beef showmanship, Braxton Cole was named Champion Beef Junior Showman, and Adrian Jimenez earned Champion Beef Showman honors.
The dairy division featured strong competition, with Nick Cervantes earning Overall Champion Dairy. Manny Rubio was named Overall Reserve Champion Dairy, and Nick Cervantes also received Champion Dairy Showman recognition.
