FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds battled the Tulia Lady Hornets on Tuesday in a non-district game.
The Lady Winds jumped out early in the first half, going up 28-21 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Lady Winds maintained their lead until the Lady Hornets stormed back late in the quarter to bring the game within 4.
In an intense fourth quarter, the Lady Winds held off the Lady Hornets, and secured the victory on Tuesday 49-47.
Floydada was led in scoring by senior Tavianne Bullock (15 points) and Ariel Falcon (14 points).
The Lady Winds will look to continue their momentum going into their next district game in New Home on Friday.
