FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were in district action on Tuesday as they hosted the New Deal Lady Lions.
The Lady Lions applied pressure early in the game, forcing turnovers and taking a 23-7 lead going into halftime.
New Deal continued their pressure in the second half, and secured the district victory over the Lady Winds 58-27.
With the loss on Tuesday, the Lady Winds fall to 7-14 overall and 3-2 in district play.
They will look ahead to Friday as they battle the Abernathy Lady Lopes.
