FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada CISD Board of Trustees recognized outstanding students, staff members, and board members during its regular meeting held January 15.
As part of the evening’s agenda, FCISD honored Students of the Month and Staff Members of the Month from A.B. Duncan Elementary School and Floydada Collegiate Junior High and High School, celebrating their hard work, leadership, and positive impact on their campuses.
At A.B. Duncan Elementary School, the following students were recognized:
Alyssa Mao, 2nd Grade
Jiovani Juarez, 2nd Grade
Cara McKee was honored as Staff Member of the Month for A.B. Duncan Elementary.
From Floydada Collegiate Junior High and High School (FCJH/FCHS), the following students received recognition:
Brandyn Diaz, 9th Grade
Kaydin Logsdon, 9th Grade
Israel Cervera, 8th Grade
Aubrey Almaguer, 8th Grade
Andrew Shores was recognized as Staff Member of the Month for FCJH/FCHS.
In addition to student and staff recognitions, the board also took time to honor FCISD Board of Trustees members in observance of School Board Appreciation Month, which is recognized each January. Trustees were thanked for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving students, staff, and the Floydada community.
The recognitions served as a reminder of the positive achievements taking place across the district and the continued support provided by educators, staff, and board members.
