FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds’ district basketball matchup against Post has been moved up one day due to anticipated winter weather later this weekend.
Originally scheduled for Friday night, the game will now be played on Thursday in Floydada.
Tip-off time remains unchanged at 7:30 p.m., and the contest will still take place at the Floydada gym.
School officials made the decision to adjust the schedule as a precaution, aiming to ensure the safety of student-athletes, staff, and fans amid forecasts calling for potentially hazardous winter conditions across the region.
