FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Whirlwinds’ district basketball game against the Lady Lopes has been moved up due to anticipated winter weather expected to impact the area later this week.
The game, originally scheduled for Friday night, will now be played on Thursday in Floydada. Tip-off time remains set for 6:15 p.m., and the matchup will take place at the Floydada gym.
School officials adjusted the schedule as a precaution to help ensure safe travel conditions for players, coaches, officials, and fans as winter weather approaches.
Community members planning to attend are encouraged to note the change in date while keeping the same start time.
