FLOYD COUNTY, TX – As cold winter temperatures continue across the region, Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada, in partnership with Tailwaggers911, will host a Winter Supplies Giveaway to help community members stay warm.
The giveaway will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Floydada Russell RV Facility Parking Lot.
A second location will be available from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lockney City Hall Parking Lot.
Community members in need are encouraged to attend and pick up free winter items while supplies last.
Items available at the giveaway include coats, sweatshirts, gloves, hats, socks, blankets, bed sheets, pillowcases, and towels. All items are completely free of charge.
Organizers say the goal of the event is to support local families and individuals during the winter season by providing essential supplies to help keep them warm.
Residents are encouraged to come early and remain weather-aware while traveling to the giveaway locations. No registration is required.
