First Texas National Bank Donates $25,000 in Support of Local Nonprofit Organizations and Fire Departments

FLOYDADA, TX – January 14, 2025 – First Texas National Bank recently made donations
totaling $25,000 to local fire departments and nonprofit organizations serving Floydada’s
surrounding counties and Grayson County, continuing the bank’s commitment to investing in the
communities it serves.

First Texas National Bank has donated a sum of $15,000 to various local fire departments:

– Doughtery Fire Department, represented by Jim Covington
– Motley County Fire Department, represented by Craig Turner
– Floydada Fire Department, represented by Chad Guthrie

“Our goal is always to support organizations that are making a meaningful impact where we live
and work,” said T.K. Farris, Chief Executive Officer. “ We’re grateful for the opportunity to give
back and to stand alongside those serving our communities.”

In addition, First Texas National Bank has also made donations totaling $10,000 in support of
nonprofit organizations located in Grayson County, with $5,000 awarded to each:

– Family Promise of Grayson County, a nonprofit aimed at empowering Grayson County
families to end child homelessness.
– Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Grayson County, an organization
providing trained community volunteers to act as a “voice in court” for children within
the child welfare system.
