TAHOKA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds were on the road Tuesday night to battle the Bulldogs in district play.
Floydada found momentum early in the first quarter. however the Bulldogs fought back but Floydada retained a 14-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Tahoka took the lead in the second quarter and went into the locker room for halftime up 20-16.
Floydada tried to build a comeback in the fourth quarter, but were stopped short and would fall to the Bulldogs 47-39.
The Whirlwinds fall to 6-17 overall and 2-5 in district play.
