
FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds battled the New Home Leopards in a district game on Tuesday.
Both teams went back and forth in the first quarter, but the Leopards gained the lead going into the second quarter 16-9.
It was continued fast-paced action in the second quarter, but New Home went into the locker room for halftime up 39-28.
The Leopards found all momentum in the second half, and secured the district victory 86-54.
With the loss on Tuesday, the Whirlwinds fall to 6-18 overall and 2-6 in district.
