Lockney baseball field
LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Longhorns have officially released their 2026 baseball schedule as they prepare for another season of competition on the diamond. The schedule features early-season scrimmages, tournament play, and a full slate of district games that will play a major role in determining postseason opportunities.
The Longhorns will open preseason action with an Olton scrimmage at home on February 7 before traveling to Forsan later in the month for a matchup with Forsan and Stamford. February and early March will also include tournament appearances at the Ralls Tournament, giving Lockney valuable game experience ahead of district competition.
Non-district matchups throughout March include games against New Deal, Petersburg, Springlake-Earth, and others, allowing the Longhorns to continue building momentum before district play begins.
District action opens March 24, when Lockney hosts Clarendon. District play will continue through April with home-and-away matchups against Clarendon, Quanah, Wellington, Memphis, and Floydada. Several district games will be played at Lockney, giving Longhorn fans plenty of chances to support the team at home.
