FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds concluded their district season on Tuesday as they battled at home against the Abernathy Lady Lopes.
Abernathy jumped out early in the first half, taking a 40-12 lead at halftime.
The Lady Winds looked to fight back in the second half, but were unable to make the second half comeback, falling 75-26.
The Lady Winds end the regular season at 10-19 overall and 6-6 in district play.
Floydada will battle Farwell in the first round of the playoffs in Dimmitt on Monday.
