FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds played host to the Abernathy Antelopes on Tuesday in a district battle.
Abernathy jumped out early in the first quarter, taking a 21-7 lead.
The Whirlwinds fought back in the second quarter, but still trailed 47-26.
The Antelopes closed the game out in the second half, securing the victory 85-44 over the Whirlwinds.
Floydada falls to 6-20 overall and 2-8 in district play.
