SAN ANGELO, TX – Armando Chavarria III represented Floydada with pride at the prestigious San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo, earning 4th place in the highly competitive Crossbred division during the San Angelo Barrow Show.
Chavarria, a member of Floydada FFA, showcased his hard work and dedication in the show ring against exhibitors from across Texas. The San Angelo show is one of the largest and most respected livestock events in the state, making a top-four finish a significant accomplishment.
Competing in the Crossbred category requires careful selection, feeding, conditioning, and daily care. Chavarria’s success reflects months of preparation and commitment, along with the support of his family, FFA advisors, and the Floydada community.
The San Angelo Barrow Show continues to highlight the strong agricultural tradition in Texas while giving students valuable opportunities to develop responsibility, leadership, and showmanship skills.
