Floyd County 4-H Swine Exhibitors Earn Honors at San Angelo Show

SAN ANGELO, TX – Floyd County 4-H swine exhibitors made a strong showing at the recent San Angelo stock show, bringing home several top placements and representing their community with pride.

Emma Nelson led the way with an impressive performance, earning 8th place with her crossbred and 4th place with her spotted gilt. Addison Hightower also secured a spot in the top ten, placing 10th with her spotted entry.

Several other Floyd County 4-H exhibitors contributed to the successful week in the ring. Adrian Jimenez exhibited both a Chester and a crossbred, while Brooklyn Jones showed a Berkshire along with three crossbred entries. Ivanee Carrillo competed with a Chester, and Elisa Carrillo rounded out the group with her crossbred project.

Together, the Floyd County 4-H exhibitors demonstrated dedication, preparation, and skill throughout the event, highlighting the strength of the county’s youth livestock program and their commitment to excellence in the show ring.
