
LOCKNEY, TX – Residents of Lockney are experiencing a temporary disruption in municipal trash collection services after the city’s primary sanitation truck was taken out of service for repairs. According to city officials, the vehicle is currently in the shop awaiting replacement parts that are expected to arrive on Wednesday.
Once repairs are completed, regular trash pickup operations are scheduled to resume Thursday, when City employee Rudy is anticipated to return to his normal route. City representatives expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and understanding during the brief service interruption.
City staff will continue to monitor the repair timeline to ensure services return as scheduled.
