SUDAN, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns softball team were in action on Tuesday as they travelled to Sudan to battle the Lady Hornets.
The Lady Horns started the scoring in the top of the first inning, taking the lead 2-0.
The Lady Hornets fought back in the bottom half of the second inning, scoring seven runs and taking a 7-2 lead.
Lockney scored two more runs in the top of the third inning, and cut the lead down 7-4.
Sudan had a big third inning, scoring 14 runs and taking a 21-4 lead.
The Lady Hornets finished the game in the bottom of the fourth securing the victory 23-4 over the Lady Horns.
The Lady Horns fall to 1-6 overall and will look ahead to their next matchup against Slaton on Thursday.
