FLOYDADA, TX – Community members will have an opportunity to show their support for a longtime caregiver this week as a fundraiser is being held for Liz Garza, a dedicated employee at Beehive Homes of Floydada.
Garza has spent the past 16 years serving residents at Beehive Homes, where she has devoted countless hours caring for and supporting those who call the facility home. Friends, coworkers, and community members are now coming together to return that support through a special fundraiser in her honor.
The fundraiser will feature enchilada plates and will take place on Friday, March 13, at Beehive Homes in Floydada. Plates will be served during two time periods: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and again from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for supper.
Each plate will be available for $15 and will include enchiladas, dessert, and a drink.
Organizers say the event is a way for the community to come together and support someone who has given so much of her time and care to others. Residents and supporters are encouraged to stop by, enjoy a meal, and help show appreciation for Garza’s years of service.
Anyone wishing to support the fundraiser is invited to attend during either serving time.
