Floydada ISD Recognizes Students and Educators of the Month

FLOYDADA, TX – Outstanding students and staff members were recognized during the monthly Floydada Independent School District board meeting as part of the district’s Students and Educators of the Month program.

The recognition highlights individuals who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a strong commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.

At A.B. Duncan Elementary, three students were honored for their achievements and positive example on campus. Those recognized as Students of the Month were Amos Taylor, Jolee Nutt, and Anaissa Moreno.

The campus also recognized Janie Francis, Speech Language Pathologist, as the Educator of the Month for her continued work supporting students and helping them develop important communication skills.

Students from Floydada Collegiate Junior High and Floydada Collegiate High School were also recognized during the meeting. Honored as Students of the Month were Renae Delgado, 11th grade; Martin Ramirez, 11th grade; Adamaris Gomez, 6th grade; and Michael Stewart, 6th grade.

The secondary campus Educator of the Month honor went to Pete Payen, who teaches Physics and Chemistry. Payen was recognized for his dedication to students and his efforts to create engaging learning experiences in the classroom.

Floydada ISD administrators and school board members congratulated each of the honorees, noting that the monthly recognition program provides an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and positive contributions being made across the district.

Students and staff were presented during the meeting and recognized for their commitment to academic success, leadership, and making a difference within their schools.
