FLOYDADA, TX – A Floydada family is asking for community support after a local teenager was seriously injured in an accident, leaving her facing a long and challenging recovery.

Jazlyn, a 17-year-old student described by loved ones as “bright and beautiful,” was recently involved in an accident that has dramatically changed the course of her life. Instead of focusing on school, friends, and future plans, she is now undergoing medical treatment and beginning what is expected to be a lengthy healing process.

Family members say Jazlyn has remained strong, but the road ahead will include continued hospital care, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical needs. Those close to her describe her as someone with a kind heart, a contagious smile, and a spirit that brings joy to those around her.

In response to the growing financial burden, Jazlyn’s family has created a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of raising $10,000. The funds will help cover medical bills, rehabilitation expenses, transportation to and from treatments, and other unexpected costs during her recovery.

Her parents, Tina and Jose, are currently by her side full-time and have stepped away from work in order to support her through this critical time.

The family is asking for prayers, donations, and shares of Jazlyn’s story as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

“Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference,” the family shared. “If you are unable to give, we ask that you please keep Jazlyn in your prayers and help spread the word.”

Those wishing to support Jazlyn and her family can do so through the GoFundMe campaign set up in her honor.
