LOCKNEY, TX – The #1-ranked Floydada Lady Winds began district play on Monday against the Lockney Lady Horns.
The Lady Winds started the top of the first with three runs and took a 3-0 lead.
Floydada continued their offense in the second and third inning to secure the district opener against the Lady Horns 17-0.
The Lady Winds move to 20-2 overall and 1-0 in district play.
The Lady Horns fall to 6-12-1 overall and 0-1 in district.
