NEW DEAL, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds baseball team traveled to New Deal on Tuesday to battle the Lions in non-district play.
The Whirlwinds would strike first in the top of the first inning, takin a 1-0 lead.
The Lions would score three in the bottom of the first to take a 3-1 lead.
New Deal would continue to add to their lead and secure the victory 16-1.
Floydada falls to 8-6 overall and will start district play on Tuesday.
